123 Idler Arm Repair Kit - what torque, how tight?

Installing Febi W123 idler arm repair kit - question is, how tight do you torque the nut? Is there a torque spec? How much play/clearance/ease of motion should there be in the idler arm after installation?

thanks!

Tighten enough to get ALL the slack out of it.

Good luck,

Thanks Larry - bolted it down & took out the slack, but didn't want to over-do it...

According to the maintenanace manual:

http://mb.braingears.com/123_DISK2/program/Chassis/46-520.pdf

120 nm or about 90 ft-lbs. (tight).

I hope this helps.
