Heater servo rebuild kit
Does anyone know where I can get parts for the "dreaded 107 heater servo", vintage 77-80. l disassembled mine and cleaned out the corroded gears, replaced the motor and exchanged the plastic housing with a spare one I had. I'd like to replace the rubber seals but can't seem to find rebuild kit anywhere? Any suggestions?

its called the "evil vacuum servo"...was used on the W123, W116 as well as the W107 (and possible a couple others) it was designed by chrysler who used it 10 years before mercedes did...and there are no kits I am aware of for a DIY.

Yeah, there's a kit. It doesn't fix the servo very often and costs a bizarre amount of money. You're best bet is to pick up a Mantis reman or replace the servo with a manual faucet -- the kind you can buy as Home Depot. Otherwise, I think you'll have to make your own seals. Good luck!

There was a kit . I can give you the Mercedes part number, but they do not make or stock.

0008300198 still shows up in the price list, which usually indicates some level of availability. List price: $322. But like I said, they weren't good for much anyways...
