W123 Disk/Hub removal
I'm doing a front brake job on my 1980, 300CD. I have the disk with attached hub removed from the axle. The bearing seal and the bearings are removed. I've also removed the 5 allen-head bolts from the back of the disk but I cannot separate the hub from the disk. What's the trick to this? Please help!

penetrating oil
and a big hammer. or some heat applied to the area around the center of the disc.
dont worry about damaging anything, get a bigger hammer and whale away. use eye protection though. good luck tom w

And after you get them seperated, wire brush the hub and put a little anti-seize on the area to help prevent the same problem from recurring in the future.
