Time for new rotors?

1 Attachment(s)
I recently replaced the pads on my R129 and noticed that the pads aren't contacting all of the surface. Do I give them time to conform ( about 150 miles since replaced) or change the rotors now?

Thanks for advice.

First make sure the rotors are not below min thickness. If they are not, and it is braking normally, I would give it a little more time for the pads to break in to the surface of the rotor.

While you're measuring, ensure that the inside of the disc is thinner than the outside, causing this pattern. If not, you have other issues, like sticking pads, a broken piston, or a bent mount.

If the ridge on the outer edge of the disk is greater than a thickness of a dime (+/-) you proably need new disks.

When did you bleed your lines last?

Thanks for the replys1
I bled the brakes when pads were changed and again yesterday when I sanded the rotors to make sure there was not a glaze on the surface.

Rotors seem warped, I'd replace them. Rotors will warp into like a cone shape sometimes. Don't know why.
