Talking fixed basic volt ohm reading for coolant sensor

I replaced the coolant sensor after obtaining the following data. Ohm are dead on but the voltages are very close. After replacing a $20 sensor the coolant fans come on properly and the gauge reads about 90C at idle. The car runs much better and owner has a major case of "perma-grin" again. Thanks for the input.

0C=5900 4.25V
10C=3700 3.95V
20C=2500 3.60V
30C =1700 3.15V
40C=1170 2.65V
50C=830 2.30V
60C= 600 1.93V
70C=435 1.50V
80C=325 1.22V
90C=245 1.0V
100C=185 .81V

<-- wants 6.5 biturbo for my 500E
