Exclamation 1988 mercedes 420sel window problem/dash light out

I have a problem with the drivers side window. The switch was sticking and tried to unstick and now the switch is broken. I tried to hook drivers side plug into the passengers side switch but it doesnt work. Any suggestions? Can I replace just the switch? Thanks. Also, I have a light out on the dash on the left side in front of the fuel gage. How do I fix that? Can't find bulb or anything. Checked switches.

For the bulb out in the instrument cluster, pull the cluster and change the burned bulb. The clusters on Mercedes are relatively easy to remove. Click on DIY articles and you will see an article on removing the instrument cluster.
