Is this the right battery hold-down for an '01 CLK?

If I were you, Id go to napa and get a univercial battery mount... They're bacicly $10 threaded hooks, and a connector bracket. The hooks hook onto your battery tray, and you can use it. Can you put the bracket approximatly where it should go? I dont know the car, but it might help someone else ~Nate |
Thanks but I don't think I'm going to NAPA to put some "universal" part on a $20K+ Mercedes. BTW the Mercedes part was only $5.

there are two available, the one you have is for the much smaller 74 AH battery, since you have the larger 100 AH battery, you need the one with part number 129-895-00-70 it is much shorter.
