C220 Won't Start or Turnover. Any Ideas??please help

Hey guys, Last nite I went to the corner store, as soon as I returned to my car to start it, it strugglled to turnover and the rpm needles were flying back and forth. After a few seconds of struggle, the turnover stopped and the car went silent. Repeat attempts to re-start the car were met with silence, no turnover noise or anything. I can hear the feul pump starting up when I put it into ignition, however there's no turnover or anything.

Anyone know what's wrong? I'm wondering if its the starter? Please help, thanks.

Core price is the additional charge you incur if you do not return a rebuildable core to them.

How is the battery in the car?

Battery's fine. Its been 24 hours now and its in my driveway. Everything powers up, but engine doesn't turn. Could it be the timing chain? its weird how this thing died. Anyone got ideas?

RElay?

I went and talked to a mech down the street today, he doesn't work on euro's.... His idea was to check the relays as he feels it might be an electrical problem causing my car to not turn over rather then even the starter. Is their a relay on my car for the starter? and if yes, is it also under the fuse box? and which one is it? all idea's or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If, by Turn-Over, you mean the car will not Crank.. then try "N" instead of "P" on the gear selector.
If it then cranks, the NSS is suspect .
