How to program new alarm remote?
 

10 yr old remote transmitters x 2 plastic buttons acting up,esp after handing it to mechanics whose fingers seems to be extra strong.I have to lube and glue the plastic screw to assemble it together again each time .Bought a new spare (as insurance) old stock Prestige BGAAPS2T remote,same as my old one.The audiovox site does not seems to have instruction for old remote program.For newer 2 button remote,it seems to be a case of putting key in ignition and press the button one till alarm chirps.Is this a general procedure???
I only need to program the big round black button,i rarely if ever use the small green one to remote start the car.
