Hardtops for 450SL

I was under the impression that all the hardtops were made of fiberglass. I have found one for my 79 450SL and the guy says it is metal.(Says it has some minor rust damage) Are they metal or fiberglass? I dont have a hardtop now on the car so I cant tell. Im almost sure that my 2 previous 450's had fiberglass tops!! (but I really didnt pay much attention)Any help would be appreciated.
