450 SL Hard Starting

780 450 sl The car starts fine in the morning but after it has been sitting for an hour after running it is very difficult to start.

And last night it stalled but I got it started after 15 min but it only ran for 1 minute. It did this about 6 times before I was able to drive it home.

The car has new injectors, fuel pump, accumulator and filter.

Any ideas on what the problems might be?

MOST of the time fuel bleed-off is the problem...how about the check valve o-ring in the fuel distributor?

Of course secondary ignition(weak) CAN cause the exact same problem...

I had a similar problem with my '79 450SL. Replacing the fuel accumulator and fuel pump check valve solved my problem. My mechanic said a hard "warm start" could also be caused by worn fuel injectors.
