Bonnet/Hood Jammed Shut R129
 

Hi, I've had a look around but cant find this one. My bonnet has jammed shut. The lever releases one side but not the other, which looks as though it has locked lower than it should have done. I have had a mate hold the lever open while I push and pull on the bonnet to no avail. I've driven over bumps, tried bouncing the car and nothing. Has anyone goy any idea how I can get it open. Please.... Before my washer fluid runs out!

I had this happen to me and the way I got mine to open was by moving the hood release handle in and out several times about 20 and it finally opened after that spraying the hood locks with WD 40 cured the problem.

sorry guys I'm still stuck, any ideas. I'm desperate... :bigcry:

Close the hood and have someone outside the car and pull the hood release handle inside the car out and in several times if the hood opens on one side have the outside person close it and keep trying till hood opens.
