Fuel pump relay help

On the fuel pump relay there is a FT signal, I would like to know what it is, and where the signal comes from, what it is the function.
Can it create stalling if faulty signal is delivered?
car is W124 260E 1988 euro.
Many thanks to those who can help to understand

Sorry if this is hard to read.
The FPR is the large rectangle across the center of the diagram.
I recieves input (on the left) from power circ. (above) and RPM circut from ignition via the AC (below). Outputs and ground are to the left.

Also this is for a USA car.

Thank you A264172 for your very quick reply,

the info you mention don't they relate to the TD signal and not TF?

but it is my fault I believe I have mislead everybody by the typing error I made, I should have typed TF in stead of FT

Is it possible that a faulty "TF" signal induces stalling of the engine?
