Chasis number?

Looking to order some brake parts for my son's 94 E320. There's a chasis number range and I hab=ve no idea where to find it? The split is between B864307 and B864308, but looking at the plate in front of the radiator there is no B864 anything......

Any idea where to find the number?

Many places to look. One place is to look on the driver side door pillar. There should be a black and white placard with the date and place of production, vehicle weight figures, a big bar code, and the VIN number - a long number, probably starting with something like WDBE... and ending with a ...B86xxxx. Those last 7 alphanumerics are what you are looking for.

Will also be on the Vehicle Data Card (last page of Owner's Manual) and probably on your Registration.

Hope this helps.

you would be in the "B 864308-" category then (since r is after b)

I also had trouble with this once, because I didn't realize the wide variety of chassis numbers I was looking for a B86xxxx or something similar like you.
