I have been talking to a guy from Hungary He was telling me he has a bad part on his engine that makes is gas milaegae go down and will cost 830 dollars to replace on his 84 500se. He sent me a picture of it. It is near the the left valve cover in front of the air filter it is right on top and looks like steel or aluminam. (standing at the grill looking in)

could it be the idle control valve? it looks like a tube thing?

MMMMMMMMM< might be the fuel distributor.
