Richard Wooldridge - Thank you for the reply. I am glad to hear that you and your grandaughter are okay and sorry to hear about your car. I appreciate the warning. It looks like some work was done on the control arms before I bought it. Whew!

I had seen the SL forum but thought this was more for technical stuff. I am new to all this. I am grateful for this forum. By the way, my wheel sensor may have just needed to be cleaned because for 2 days now the car has not acted up on the brakes. I paid $100 for diagnostics and they cleaned it somewhat. Well knock on wood. Have to see how it does for me.

Thank you BenzLGB and Roncallo. I just mentioned in my last post that I got the car out of the shop. They cleaned the sensors (so they say) and did the diagnostics. $100 out and my car seems to be doing good so far. Knock on wood it will stay good. Thank you both for your helpful advice. Yes, I am a member of MBCA and do some events with them as well. Great way to meet other enthusiasts as well as learn more about what mechanic to go to and how to handle such probs. Thank you both. I now know what to look for if it is the sensors going bad and where to get parts. Had no idea as well that I get a 15% discount with performance. Darn, I recently bought a cover for the top through them. I am really loving my car and feel it is the best thing I have done! I really am enjoying the convertible as well. In fact, being a woman and knowing us women and how we love to buy accessories, well I seem to be buying more accessories on my car! Strange how that works.
