My 350se makes a groaning/slight grinding noise with some vibration when pulling away after sitting for a while. The noise seems to come from the rear mid/left side and lasts a few seconds then when on the move it's fine. It's only when the car has been sitting for 10 mins or more, normal stop-and-go and when driving it's not there. The car is fine otherwise and quite happy up to 80mph... so far!

I've jacked up that side and it doesn't make any scary noises, had a brief look at the suspension and all seems fine though some deterioration of some rubber bushings of course. The only difference I can see from the right side is the shock has ben changed at some point to a cheaper KYB one.
