I am planning on buying a CLK 320
 
I am planning on buying a 1998 CLK 320. The car has 66,000 miles on it and seems in top notch condition. I am having an indy check it out tommorow. Any suggestions on what to look for on these models?

Has the auto trans been serviced OR is the trans adaptation at MAX torque reading?

Has the service campaign been performed on the crankshaft balancer?

Can you explain what the trans adaptation at MAX torgue means? I'm looking at a similar car and am investigating the model's reliability.
