w210 rear light out - but bulb is good..?

Hi, as I was tinkering inside the trunk with the lining off the car today, I think I've shorted the rear light by touching it with a metal object, as it sparked a bit.
The bulb is good, but the light doesn't come on anymore. Is it the fuse? I went into the fuse-box under the engine hood, but the attached guide didn't list the rear light fuse. Is there another fuse-box somewhere else? How do I proceed to fix this problem? Thanks all!

there is a module that controls the bulb out warning feature, it may have been damaged by the short. there is another fuse box under the rear seat. what year is your 210?

It's a 99 E320

The light-out warning is on (rightfully so), as the rear light doesn't come on. But the bulb is good. My question is: where to look next to track the light out problem down?

which light is it? did you check for power on the lamp housing where the bulb contacts?

Rear driver side light.

Obviously, there is no power on the "hot" plate of the bulb housing. That is what I shorted. That is where I touched with metal.
