Universal ball joint puller?
 

I've done a search but would also like to ask,

For replacing ball joints and tier rod ends on my 202 I need a universal ball joint puller, I think the tool is listed in the FASTLANE catalogue as KK129-0.

Any other sources for a similar tool that would do the work?
Or would like to know what tool you have used for this specific job.

I very well may buy the tool from Fastlane (support), figure that will even be cheaper than having the dealer do the work - anyone have an idea on the price?

The Haynes manual that I have says use a tap to clean the threads of dirt, any opinion (tips) on using a wire brush or a tap to clean threads? It seems with a tap there is a chance of cross threading.
