Got my DTC...how do I fix it?

I had a local shop read my DTCs and there was a 19 and a 26 stored.

I read the 19 has something to do with injectors and the 26 has something to do with an upshift delay relay in the transmission.

How do I troubleshoot further?
The codes were reset and the CE light went off for about 10 miles and it came back on.
The engine runs perfectly...the transmission shifts a little hard and is slow to engage reverse...but nothing terrible.

Thanks for any advice as to my next step.

Ok, did some research and seem the code 19 can be fixed with an eprom update....but most of the threads about this are old (2001). Is this still the fix for a code 19 and if so where do I get an updated eprom? Do the performance chip address this problem?

Thanks

I've sent your replacement eprom this morning so you will be all :) after you install it!

Jim,
You were right, Have been using your prom for months now..no more code 19. But I am still getting a code 26...I have searched all over my S500 (94) for this vacuum line that could be causing it...and I cannot find it...any help is greatly appreciated.

Check out MENU#1 in the system diagram; the upshift delay switchover valve is shown (Y3/3) driven from the LH ECU (N3/1).

You are just another stat for the new prom :) It has fixed every instance of the DTC#19 problem.

OK, I see it on the diagram, but still can find it in the car. Does the diagram represent the approx. physical location in the car itself?
Thanks

In my car, Y3/3 is located under the drivers side 'facade' cover next to the accumlator/drier and the low side A/C port. It's easily identified b/c of the two vacuum lines attached.

There's also a 'relay', K29 which is called the "upshift delay" module. It's located under the fuse panel in the right corner. It the 'last' relay that's closest to back side.
