MAS problems
My 1990 300E is cooling sporadically and not heating the cabin on demand. I suspect a MAS control unit problem. Would anyone know what the proper MAS # is and how would I diagnose this fault.

With respect to Automatic Climate Control, the MAS relay only controls compressor cut-out. It shouldn't affect heating. Have you checked the basics (thermostat, vacuum leaks, etc.)?
