Hi,
I was recently riding in a 2000 BMW 328 with halogen headlamps and was impressed at how well they light up the road in front including the middle area in front of the car. My headlamps on my 1995 C280 don't seem to light up the road in front of me as well even though I have aftermarket bright white bulbs put in. Anyhow, I was wondering if there are different types of lenses like a Eurpoean lense available for my car that produce better lighting - I know I can get xenon headlmaps but those don't work well with halogen lenses plus they are exspensive. Could some explain the difference in halogen technology between my car and the new BMW's - could it be to due to variable focus technology or newer different technology Troy |

The lens isn't much different from US to euro But the reflector is. OF course a true Xenon is the way to go!
