w202 C180 1997 door trims

anybody got a tip for how to remove the door trims on the ehh doors ?

I've got some rust on the doors just where the side trim lists are.. and want to fix this asap..

i have opend the backdoor and removed the panel, it looks like i shall slide the outside trims off by pushing forward ???

Can anybody confirm this ???
IS that the way do go on all doors ???
