Some interior parts no longer made?
 

Hello folks,

I was recently told by my local MB Dealership that I could have a new replacement rear parcel shelf for my W201 as long as it was in the colour black. Has anyone else been told this?

I need one in colour code 173.

Any ideas ??? It would be much appreciated.

I would try another dealer. They might not have wanted to order the part from Germany. If you still have no luck you could try a local dismantler. I buy most of the interior parts for my 126 used because the colors match better with my 24 year old interior. I am somewhat surprised about their only color choice though. I would expect one of the tan colors to be the only choice since its the most popular interior color.
