MB KFM Type 30 Antifreeze/Coolant - Source in the US?

Does anyone have a source for the MB KFM Type 30 Antifreeze/Coolant (P/N: 000.989.16.25.11) in the US? According to an MB fanatic friend in Europe, this is supposed to be the very best. See the attached sheet from the WIS.

Zerex G-05 coolant, which is the same as US-spec MB coolant (but much cheaper), is rated for 5 years/100,000 miles. And you should change it every 3 years anyhow. So why spend the extra $$$ on KFM...whatever it is?

I have MB branded antifreeze/coolant in my M113 engine now. After 2 years and approximately 5000 miles, there is what appears to be excessive corrosion - especially on aluminum surfaces.

The answer to "why" is in the WIS Sheet.

That's about 2500 miles a year or put another way....car isn't driven much. Inactivity can create all sorts of problems.

If you have MB coolant in your car, your corrosion problem is not due to the coolant itself.

Along with the inactivity, I wonder just what sort of water was mixed with the MB coolant? Local "hard" variety?

Local, not hard variety tap water. FWIW, this is better than DI water for this application. (Past functional fluids - as in antifreeze, among others - formulator and tester.):silly:
