202 aux fans not working

have 96 C220 202 chassis. just put new compressor/clutch cause clutch wasnt engaging. also drier. compressor comes on now and cools but pressures start to go out of sight. one fan came on briefly. tested and found other to be bad. replaced both with a new pulse module. neither fan comes on at all with all the new parts. when i disconnect the pressure switch the compressor shuts off. when i disconnect the temp switch it stays running. once in a while the fans will try to run on low stage for few secs then shut off. has me stumped. any ideas?? i get a voltage signal at both the pressure and temp connectors. i get resistance reading on temp switch. cant reach pressure switch to read w/o removing from drier. any ideas??

Don't know the 202, but I'd check and clean all the connectors and grounds.
I just went through this on my w124.

update on aux fans. i installed temp and pressure switches on drier. fans now come on high when a/c is off. they shut off when a/c is on. the compressore doesnt shut off when the pressure gets too high even with the new pressure switch. i dont have a decade box so i wont be able to pull head unit and check from there. any suggestions? by the way, with a/c off the fans come on low with ignition on. with engine running and a/c off they come on high.

found my problem. the a/c control panel evidently had been replaced at some time and not properly version coded. that's all it needed after the fans and air module replacement. however new pressure and temp switches did make some difference even w/o the proper version coding so i dont feel bad in replacing them.
