changing Fuel Pressure Reg in W124
whats the procedure for changing the fuel pressure regulator in a 1994 E420?
do I need to worry about air getting in the system (if so, how do I bleed it?). anything else I need to pay attention to? |
Take old one off, putting new one on.
No need for bleeding when one end's open anyway. Just brakes are closed systems. Systems open on one end are obviously self-bleeding. |
It's nice to have some snap ring pliers - much easier. Have a rag handy for leaking fuel. It sometimes requires quite a bit of pressure to get the new one to snap back into place - but a generally a very easy job.
