changing Fuel Pressure Reg in W124

whats the procedure for changing the fuel pressure regulator in a 1994 E420?

do I need to worry about air getting in the system (if so, how do I bleed it?). anything else I need to pay attention to?

Take old one off, putting new one on.

No need for bleeding when one end's open anyway.

Just brakes are closed systems.

Systems open on one end are obviously self-bleeding.

It's nice to have some snap ring pliers - much easier. Have a rag handy for leaking fuel. It sometimes requires quite a bit of pressure to get the new one to snap back into place - but a generally a very easy job.
