The 5 bar grill insert from Bekkers is not a quality part.
http://www.precisionauto.com offers a grill insert for the C class.
Has any one seen this grill? Is it a quality part? Looks like an E class grill. Can an E class grill insert be modified to fit into the C grill shell??
Thanx for the input.

Jaybro,
I bought the Avantgarde grill from Bekkers. I bought the whole thing, not just the insert. It is listed as being $179 I believe, but with a little work, I got it for $149. :) I am very happy with the way it looks. I even nailed the gym set in the garage, pushing it back about a foot (and it's HEAVY) and the grill is fine! Good luck with whatever you do.

jaybro,

Since I changed my grill several (2,5) years ago in a time where there were no C class avantgarde grill inserts for sale...I bought an original W210 E class grill insert and retrofitted that into my C class grill frame.
The euro MB dealers offer an OEM C class avantgarde grill insert now as well. This grill equals the MB grill insert quality.

jaybro,

I replied your mail but it came back with a message that the address was unknown...
Is this mail address the right one: jaybro@stratos.net. It is the address that you have written down in your mercedesshop profile...

greetingz,
