Rusty Jack points W124
 

After noticing minor rust around left & right front jack-points on beloved '87 300TD, I peeled back the grey rubberized coating, to discover a whole lot of rust--6"-8" of Cancer left & right of each jackpoint. It looks like it's only the outer rocker that's eaten away. Jack-points look solid. Any experience on replacement/repair? It looks like only partial pieces of a new rocker will need to be cut-in. Are aftermkt rockers good? Any sources? This was an NJ car and has lived the past 9yrs in NYC.
