dash defroster duck inoperative
The passenger side defrost duct on my 1990 190E up on the dash pad on to the windshield does not operate. the Driver side is great...good air flow and good control over temp and flow. I figure it is a problem only with that side and I can see down through the windshield that the flap in the duct is not opening like it does on the other side. Where do I start looking fo rthe controling switches/vacuum for this defrost duck to repair /diagnose problem.
Do both duck flaps operate off same line or are they seperatly controled. Am I just looking for a loose vac line or is it an elec switch sys?

On our cheap european non-airco 190's the flaps are operated by one cable...
Take out the dash compartment to have a clear look... greetingz,
