Did coolant flush - now no hot air
I flushed the coolant in my car - '86 300E and now when I start the engine and turn the heater on, there is system is blowing cold air - even though I have the temp. dial turned to max.
Any suggestions????? Thanks. |
you might have air trapped in the system. with the car off take off radiator cap and start the car turn the heater on let car run for a while then put cap back on. recheck coolant level once it cools.

no might about it. there is an air pocket.

But try the burping first.... |
did you bleed the top of the thermostat housing?
do this first. then run the engine for a bit. stop and carefully recheck the level. then run the car down the road. running at idle won't get the air bubble out. george |
