Does this climate control have a diagnostic mode?

This is a climate control from a 1999 C230 Kompressor (see picture). Does anyone know if it can be put into a diagnostic mode, similar to the other models? I'd like to get some of the sensor readings in order to diagnose a problem. I've already looked at these, but I don't think they apply:

The USA C230 1999-2000 & the early SLK share that unit..with-out scanner you won't get info like the earlier system..
