oil preasure 94 w124 E320 coupe sportline

Here is my situation.
Started on a trip yesterday weather hot A/C on.
Stopped for gas left engine running(grandma in car had to keep her cool)
As i pulled out of station I noticed that the oil guage did not peg at 3 bars.
About 2.5 noticed that temp guage was on the peg between 80 & 120.normally sits just above 80.
car had to be at above 40mph to keep oil at 3 bars
I never noticed this before.is this normal? Was this because the M104 was hot?
Oil is about ready to be changed but checked level and was right between red indicators on dip stick, running castrol 10 w 30 123,000 mi on clock.
engine was running fine but turned around and went back and took truck on trip any advise please.
thanks
hal steiner

Oilpressure

Hi Mr Steiner
Yes this is normal under very hot conditions.
The same ouucrs on my E500 oilpressure drops
to 2.5 bars but under driving it raises to 3 bars.
No svet on this as lons as its raises when giving gas.
Rgds
