C220 Coolilng System Assistance is Appreciated
My C220 does not have any pressure when I squeeze the top raditaor hose after the car has been driven extensively. This seems very strange as the car does not over heat, she runs great. Radiator cap? or could it be something more serious? No oil in the coolant, no water in the oil.
Many thanks in advance. Mossimmo |
If you are not losing coolant and as you say there is no contamination in the oil or coolant I would agree that it is probably just a replacement radiator cap that is needed.
Is the radiator header tank full to the mark when cold as if there is too much air above the coolant you will just be compressing air. Geo. |
$7 later and a new cap fixed the problem, pressure is now building in the radiator.
Thanks for your help! |
Glad to help, thanks for the feedback.:)
