AC compressor on constantly?
 

AC on 2003 C230K works fine. My wife closed the glove compartment door hard and the AC stopped (AUTO light in climate control went out). Pushed the AUTO button on and it worked fine. This morning I drove without the AC on and cold (not ambient) air was being pushed (the blower was off) through the vents. Could the compressor be running without any of the climate controls being turned on? I ahve not opened the hood yet to see if the compressor is actually engaged. Thanks.
