You found the fuel filter, but didn't recognize that the two fuel pumps were sitting right there in plain view.

You can't fix these cars by throwing parts at them.. They are complex, particularly, if you don't have manuals. Actually even with manuals.

You are dealing with a very complicated fuel injection system. You may have looked at the Cap and Rotor, but do you know that sometimes the coil is a problem. Then there is the EHA valve, the idle valve, etc. etc.

I do a fair amount of my own work, but when my '92 300E all of a sudden decided it didn't want to run, I took it to my MB indy. It took him quite a few hours to figure it out. I never would have suceeded.

yess i found the two fuel pumps but it seems to be working and sounds good "DKVEURO help me with everything what a wonderful man" he told me everything and it sounds that its leading to the fuel filter so i woke up early this morning and decided to change the filter bam! it started like a champ i was also suprise on the better running and sound after the new filter. (i had a bmw 318i 84' that i put 800 miles on every 2 weeks the odometer reading is at 729,635 manual transsmission i love that car and it finally broke down on me some oil leaks on the cylinder head gasket but still start but ill let it retire.) just a little story you guys i hope i do the same with the MB i think this is the first time i heard a big number like this comming from a BMW well i had driven the car many times on the east coast thats why it stack up that much. thanks DVKEURO
