Use a late VW plug wire puller or a pair of plug boot pliers....grip and turn as you pull...the rubber sleeve in the wire connector welds it's self to the ceramic of the plug(s).
If they come apart, you'll need new wire set.

As I told you before...under the floor on passengers side rear....plastic shield with a few plastic nuts and if earlier model, between the gas tank and rear drive axle.

Some cars have two pumps...yours has ONE.
There will be an accumalator, a filter, and a pump...the pump is the only thing with two WIRES coming from it.

Irrespective of how many there are, ONLY a fuel pump(s) will have wires connected to it/them.....
The other parts are an accumalator and a filter.

No....the heat welds the inner rubber sleeve of the plug boot to the ceramic of the plug.....if the boot pulls apart when you eventually pull it off, you need new wire set.

Where you going to get a filter at this time of night ?

From your posts, it now appears the fuel supply is miss-fire problem....

What's your phone number ?
