Nothing too heavy duty, or too expensive. I'm looking for something that is not very visible when not in use. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks |

Had one put on my 560 last year. Common co. but not drawtight or reese. Cost about $200+ installed. All you can see is the little square.

I had one put on my 91 190e for about $200 for a 4x8 utility trailer I have. It was done by a local hitch company (they had pictures of other Mercedes and even a Rolls Royce with hitches) and it uses a large square reciever. They cut an exact hole in the cowling below the back (of course) bumper and thats all you see. They took off the bumper and all the trunk lining to weld it on. I haven't looked at exactly what they did but it looks good and so far works okey. I just need to find a MB star reciever cap. Maybe we can talk the parts shop into carying one. The MB radical turning radius makes backing up a trailer easy.
