Steering wheel WON'T lock and car won't start
 

Did a search and could not find a previous thread on this:


Car was driving and performing fine. Made a stop at the local CVS and when I came out the car would not turn over at all. Instrument panel was lit up and I noticed when I shut the key back off the steering when would not lock. After turning the wheel to the left about 2 complete turns I got it to lock in place but the car now would just groan but would not turn over. Tried to jump it off and it initially started and sputtered then died and would not fire up again. Sounds almost like I slipped the timing. Any ideas on where to start?

You mean to tell me none of you master tech have ever seen this before??? Comeon I gotta get to work Monday and need some advice on where to look.
