I am having a problem with my car's climate control:
If the heat is turned off while the car is running it can not be turned back on. To turn the heat back on I must shut down the engine and then restart (turn the key off and back on) Any help in isolating the problem would be of great help Thanks

Sounds like a classic monovalve problem, if your car has one. Search for threads with the words "monovalve" or "vacuum and heater", this may help.
