1998 C230 Interior Filter
 

I am trying to replace my interior particulate filter. I ordered one and assumed I would have no prob installing (the air vent stinks when first running the a/c or vent)...but cannot find where the filter is in the car!:confused:

Underneath the glove compartment, above the passengers feet!!

yeah, remove the four ( as I recall ) philips head screws on the black panel below the glove compartment.

The filter is positioned verticle, behind the 2'x7" plastic door that closes with two white plastic sliders.

Watch the positoning of the old filter when you pull it out.
