Auxillary Fan Relay & resistor

I need to replace my auxillary fan relay & resistor; the problem is I cannot locate these items on my '95 S500C. they are not in the front anywhere near the fans nor in the fuse box. Would anyone know where they might be located?

Thanks,

Mike

Well....if the resistor is not between the fans, then I'm thinking it is behind the driver's side headlight, on the fender well.
I don't have a 140, but I am thinking the placement is approximate with the placement on the 124.

Relay back behind fuse box on a lower level near Brake booster

and the aux resistor is up front between the two aux fans, I think. I don't have the coupe but suspect that is correct.

Thanks to Larry for the info on replacing the pencil type aux fan on my 140. Seems 95 models tried a different type of aux fan resistor, but didn't keep on using it but 1-2 years.

The aux fan resistors on the coupe are on the support bar for the bumper..

Take a look http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=152361&highlight=aux+fans at this post about the 1994-95 mod for the resistors...

See where I drew in the location of the resistors for the coupe..

Thanks for your assistance; I do have the tube type resister.
That would explain why I have been looking all over for the ballast type
which I purchased and cannot find.

Thanks,

mike
