Car vibrates a lot at idle
 

I have a 2001 C320 with about 100k miles and my problem is the whole car vibrates a lot at idle. It doesn't vibrate when the car is moving, it only vibrates when the car isn't moving at all, it happens in every gear, with and without the brake pressed down.

I searched the forums, found some suggestions that might fix it, but couldn't find anyone else that has the same problem as I do regarding vibrations.

Two words:

motor mounts.

The vibration is most noticeable in gear, right? Check your motor mounts - cheap & easy DIY fix.
