How do you drill out a piston ?
James:
Is the piston & ring stuck in the cyliinder walls.???? or do you mean hone out the cylinder walls?. If you go through all that trouble to free one piston you might as well do the rest and the exhaust valves. You may also want to check the bearing lash on the crank if you can remove the oil pan. I hope the problem is not too serious. Bob G |
I think he means the ignition switch cylinder.
In the Diesel forum someone was asking about a remote start switch but didn't specify whether a remote start switch to turn the engine over or something to start the engine from inside the house. Folks, you have the time to change fonts but not to provide needed details? C'mon  Sixto 93 300SD |
It's definitely a diamond drill. As for size, I don't know.

I would think you'd need several sizes, and work your way up. Best of luck, I gave it a try but moved on to replacing the steering lock as well.
