Rubber Fuel Hose on either side of C280 W202 fuel filter

I'm preparing to change the fuel filter on my '95 C280 (W202 chassis) this weekend along with some other items. I pulled the plastic cover off and found that there are 2, 6-12" fuel hoses that attach to either end of the fuel filter: one from the fuel pump and one to the steel line. These hoses are pretty badly cracked on their outsides, so I'm going to replace them as well.

My question is this: Can anyone tell me specifically what size this fuel hose is? I wasn't sure if this is some oddball european size line or if we're just talking a regular ol' 5/16" ID, 11/32" ID, or 3/8" ID line. I'd like to get the hose in advance so it's all ready to install when I disconnect the existing lines, rather than take it off and drive in town to the auto parts store with the hose in hand and fuel slowly dripping all over the garage floor, if ya know what I mean.

Also, I think I heard once that rubber fuel hose for fuel injection systems needs to be much stronger than standard fuel hose, and thus especially strong hose is available. Can anyone comment on this as well? If this is true, I'd like to confirm.

Thanks again for any help that you gurus can provide to this newbie.

This stuff can't cost THATmuch. Why not just go to the dealer and get OEM parts or how about this:

This is your fuel line, no time to penny pinch.

The dealer is 100 mi away. Hate to sound cheap but there's absolutely no sense in spending a full tank of gas and 4 hours of my time to buy $3.00 worth of hose when I can buy perfectly acceptable hose at NAPA, Carquest, or the local import parts store. Thanks for the link. I'm hoping that's the right size. If anyone else can confirm, that'd be great.

Edit: if that 22mm X 14mm is the OD x ID, that seems a little large, after looking at my metric caliper. Guess I'll crawl under the car again and measure it up on the outside. Would still love more advice if anyone has any on this matter.
