Hi.. a friend has a 92 500sl.. her roof doesnt close .. (like the back part of the soft top folds up and the lid flips up, but the front of the soft top doesnt unclick) the passenger window also does not work.. (doesnt come down)

what can this be??? please help as the car is outside...

When the window is fixed, the top should start working again. There is a switch at the bottom of each door that the window must contact to allow the top to continue working. Be sure to check the rear fuse box as both windows are fused there.
