my outside temperature display is out in my 99 e430. i am assuming it is a bulb. can somebody give detailed instructions on how to access this bulb. i am assuming instrument panel must come out. thanks.

On a 210 normally you can adjust the steering wheel down and back towards the driver and have enough clearance. There is a couple special tool "hooks" you should have which pulls the cluster out, I think you can make these tools with a couple coat hangars also.

Here is a link to pull my instrument cluster located in the DIY ariticles on this website. It was very helpful and right on the money! Not sure if it is similiar to your car or not. Mine was a 300E!

thanks for the help. ihave been unsuccessful with the coat hangers. will try the special hooks, i guess
