300TE injection holder seal ring?
Just replaced the injector seals on the TE, makes a huge difference in the way it drives. First time since I've had the car it was possible to correctly set the idle mixture and have it stay put.
The seals were grossly overage -- I had to crush them off the injectors with a pair of pliers they were so hard! No chance they all weren't leaking some, several really badly. However, while I was changing the seals, I noticed that some of the plastic sleeves the injectors fit in aren't exactly fitting the way I'd like (as in one came out with the injector). What is the part number or size of that o-ring, I'm gonna replace those, too just for the hell of it. Can't find them in my CD manual, so what is the correct orientation for the sleeves, or does it matter? Nice to have a car that doesn't shake at idle and has VERY positive throttle response (and hopefully better milage since it won't be running over rich all the time!). Peter

Found them, should have thought to order them with the seals.
No matter, I have to get brake parts for my brother's 75 300D in the next couple of days anyway, I'll just add them in and re-do the injectors. Sigh. Peter
