Arrow down to the bottom of this page. On the right you see "Forum Jump". Chose "DIY Links by Parts Catagory". Click on that. Then arrow down to a link "Body electrical". Click on that. Then arrow down to link "How to remove instrument cluster". Take time to check out all the links that may help you. Tons of info in here. Enjoy.

What is the problem with the dimmer?
If it is causing the lamps to work intermittently, sometimes if you work the control through the full rotation quickly a dozen times the oxide will wear off of the control.
If that doesn't work you could remove it and clean the control's wiper and resistive element with 600 or finer sand paper.
